Growing up in southern China, l experienced the region's humid climate and the challenges posed by flies and mosquitoes due to the hot weather. This project focuses on creating functional garments tailored for this environment, blending cultural heritage with practicality. Inspired by local plants, Chinese herbal medicine, and traditional Hakka clothing, which incorporated natural dyes and fabrics.
To enhance functionality, l developed a garment-integrated device that releases long-lasting herbal scents through timed intervals, providing an effective solution for this environment.
